DONATE TO ATVP
Supporting ATVP can be as simple as providing donations. We often have regular donors who through church groups or different clubs, schedule regular meetings devoted to gathering supplies for ATVP. We also often have one-time donors who decide to make generous contributions or come into possession of materials that they in turn donate to us. All kinds of donors are welcome. If you would like to make a donation, feel free to consult our Agency Wish List to see what everyday items we can put to use for serving the community.
If you would like to support us monetarily, please make your check out to Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse and send it to Deb Payne, Office Manager, ATVP, PO Box 37, Pullman WA 99163. All donations are tax deductible and you will be sent a receipt shortly.
With all donations, feel free to include the information listed below so that we know who to thank for the generosity.

Do You Have The Right Stuff To Become An ATVP Angel?
ATVP Angels are a diverse group of individuals and community or campus groups that provide expertise, local networking opportunities, people power and share their talents to support to our fundraising committee and Executive Director as they take on the responsibility of raising funds for much needed services here on the Palouse.
Most Frequently Asked Questions about being an Angel:
- What would an Angel do?
- There is so much you could do that could support the agency, such as assisting our board committee to put on a fundraising event,
- How much time is involved?
- As much or as little as you have to give. Most fundraising events are time limited. For example, three months service in the run up to our Spring fundraising event will go a long way to supporting the agency. Additionally, you may want to stay with us for a few years, just helping out as and when you can.
- I’m a member of a group that has to do community service hours, can we be Angels?
- Definitely, in fact community groups, fraternities, sororities or learning groups can help us enormously as we prepare, set up and take down for fundraising activities.
- What do you mean, share talents?
- Are you a musician? If so you might like to perform at one of our fundraising events. Are you an artist, quilt maker or carpenter? You might like to donate one of your creations in our fundraising auction. You may be an awesome organizer, someone to help us cross the t’s and dot the i’s as we pull together our larger fundraising event.
- Can I get university credit for being an Angel?
- This depends. We would work with you and your supervisor to ensure that practicum or credit goals are useful and create learning for you. Call us and we will discuss your options with you.
- Would I be responsible for raising funds?
- No, that is our Board’s responsibility. As an Angel, we are asking for support to our board as they meet their responsibilities to ensure that we have funding to provide the much needed services to victims of crime.

Our agency is facing 20% cuts in funding next year, which coupled with the ongoing need for services makes the need for diverse funding crucial.
We hope the time is right for you to become an ATVP Angel.
