STOP TRAINING 2011
"Over 60 people from various Whitman and Latah County agencies attended the ATVP/Whitman County STOP training on June 9 at the Schweitzer Event Center. This year's topic was focused on recognizing and responding to Teen Dating Violene and included presentations by Cpt. Dan Hally of the Asotin County Sheriff's Office and Ilene Stohl of the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Family Fair 2011
"I am anti violence and pro puppies" was just one of the sentiments shared by participants at the 15th annual Family Fair held on April 16, 2011. ATVP was pleased to be a part of this event and promote healthy alternatives to violence.
Take Back the Night was a great chance for ATVP's advocates to get their activism on. We met outside Wilson Hall on WSU's campus, listened to some slam poetry and spoken word pieces then marched through campus. We finished up with a candle light vigil honoring those who have experienced violence.
ATVP at Lentil Festival
The Lentil Festival Parade in Pullman was so much fun! We had bubbles, party hats and noisemakers as a way to celebrate being on the Palouse for 30 years. Tase T. Lentil was there to give us support too!
ATVP at Palouse Pride
This year's PRIDE was larger than ever and ATVP is always happy to show our support for all families.
ATVP STOP Training
The annual STOP training held by ATVP was a great success thanks to the amazing presentation given by Anne Munch! Pictured here is some of the staff, volunteers and local law enforcement officials that joined together to learn from her.
ATVP at Family Fun Fair at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman
Everyone who visited the ATVP booth got to say what they were for, instead of violence. All of the entries were great!
